Blackberry Fruit or Helpmate?

What does blackberry mean to me?  A few years ago I would have said it was a black fruit I used in my salads, jellies, pies, and other dishes I serve.  Oh, not so today.  Now I tell you it is my control center for my life.  Yesterday I took the jump and purchased one and today I am going solo on the palm size device.

Everyone around me told me I would not be able to handle it.  I wanted a storm as it has  a large face.  My son, who can text in his sleep, told me I would not be able to work it.  Oh, those of little faith.  I am doing just fine.  I knew I had to go to this form of communications as the world around me was at that speed.  I have trained my clients to email me rather than leave voice mail messages.  With email there is a trail and no one can use that old "he said she said."  My problem was that I was gone from my desk for long periods of time and those emails were not getting attention.  The solution--my blackberry.

My world of real estate is so electronic.  That change can be good and it can be bad.  If I fight these changes, I become the looser.  If I give them a try, they usually enhance my business.  I remain cautious and let them go down in price and get more perfected.  I don't need a "toy."  I don't need a device to impress others with, but I do need tools to get my job done in today's world. 

 

Watch out world me and my blackberry are taking this world by "storm"!
