Bring out the band to sound the trumpet, send up fireworks, do whatever you can to get the attention of buyers. Interest rates went down and will be hovering on conventional financing at almost 4 1/2 % for a 30 year fixed. The FHA numbers fell to 4.8% on 30 year fixed. I don't know what more we can do to tell people to buy and buy now! I know one needs job security and as little fear as possible to make this decision. Yet really, with these interest rates there is not a great deal to fear. I started selling when interest rates were 13% and when they went to 9% I told people they were in heaven. Look at how good heaven has gotten. There will never be a perfect time in anyone's life. Every time the clock ticks things change, but the change can be for the good. We had better start seeing that glass half full and not half empty if we are going to make it to 2010. I see blue skies and good things ahead of me. I am putting this bad stuff behind and I will believe in tomorrow. What I need is a few of you to join me in my parade.
