This weather is amazing. Those of us who live in the Twin Cities think 66 is warm. We shed clothes, show our white legs, and do all kinds of spring things. If we lived in Arizona we would put on down vests and complain about the temperature. It is all perspective, isn't it? I was showing houses this weekend and every house had sun pouring in. All my buyers were more positive about buying. This turn towards warmer weather did change their attitudes. That frost line is deep. Most of the backyards had small ponds in the yard. The melt is happening but the ground cannot absorb the water. You could see small streams running down the streets. I used this nice weather to get my Christmas lights down. The one thing that is bad about our constant cold weather is that those lights stay up forever. In fact on Saturday one of my buyers noticed the lights on the bushes as I was unlocking the door. I told him, "Wait until you own a house and then you will see how mother nature plays with your best laid plans." Enjoy, enjoy for we know how cruel weather can be to those of us who live in Minnesota. Memorial Day is not always the start of summer but the continuous of rain and cold.
