So many times we forget to say thank you for things that happen in our lives. So I am going to say thank you for some current happenings.
*Thank you to the guy in the red truck who saw the file my husband had put on the roof of his car blow off. He followed Charles to the gas station and handed it to him and left without a word. It was a file with all the showing appointments for the houses Charles would show in 10 minutes. An angle, yes.
*Thank you to all the residence who gathered last night and shared thoughts about their neighborhoods. The block parties are a great way for neighbors to stay connected. It really helps my people who just purchased and are in need of getting to know their community. Memo to Jane: Next year do not show houses on this evening. It was most frustrating trying to drive SW Mpls as so many streets were blocked off.)
*Thank you to a buyer who hung in there since July 13th with an offer on one of my properties. It took from them until yesterday to put the deal together. Patience is a virtue.
*Thank you to mother nature for giving us some needed rain. Is it rude to ask for more?
*Thank you to North Korea for releasing the two journalists. I am never going to complain about my job. At least I don't get detained for being in the wrong spot.
*Thank you to my husband who is so kind to eat scrambled eggs for dinner at 9 PM when I get home from being with clients. Keep those chickens laying eggs.
*And thank you to all those people I forget to say thank you to. I will try to remember next time to say it out loud.
