Parades in December

Here in Minneapolis we do have parades in December.  Target Corporation, headquarters in Minneapolis, sponsor a parade that runs through downtown Minneapolis from November 27 to December 20.  People volunteer to have lights strung on themselves and there are lots of lit floats.  Every evening Mon-Friday the parade runs for about 1/2 hour.  There are seats under warm lights if you feel it is too cold.  It is great fun for people of all ages.  It is fun to watch but even more fun to participate in.  Each night there is a different grand marshal.

 

This is a great outreach to the people of Minneapolis but more importantly it brings people to downtown Minneapolis to shop.  The hours of the stores are lengthened and you can bet there are some special sales going on.

 

Grab your hats, boots, mittens, and warm coat and head down to the heart of Minneapolis and see the lights of the Holidazzle parade. 

One can wish for a good value in a home and hope they can get it, but you need to take action to make that wish come true.
